Title:  Senior Finance Analyst- Revenue

Location: Troy, MI

Reports to: Finance Director

 

The Role:  The Revenue and SalesTeam Support Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for partnering with theAuto and SI Sales teams to analyze and report on the Salesforce pipeline,support the attainment of the revenue forecast, and to support the three Auto& SI Finance Managers with project-level revenue forecast input andanalysis.

 

The Impact: This position will play a key role in driving revenue for the Auto and SIbusinesses by focusing attention on the Salesforce pipeline for each businessunit, and the actions required to close open sales opportunities in order tohit the revenue forecast.

 

Responsibilities:

FP&A

  • Weekly Salesforce pipeline reports for theAuto & SI teams
  • Bi-Monthly revenue forecast support(Develop & Communicate “Need to Close” list)
  • Revenue & COGS forecast/budget forAuto Retail and SI Consulting projects
  • Account Executive scorecards and SalesIncentive Plan (SIP) reporting
  • Sales Teams’ OpEx and BizDev forecastingand expense allocation

Qualifications:

  • 2-3years of related experience in finance and FP&A systems includingparticipation in multiple planning and forecasting cycles
  • Financeor Accounting 4-year degree preferred
  • Non-Excelbased budgeting experience required
  • TM1or other multidimensional OLAP cube based enterprise planning system experiencerequired (i.e. Hyperion Essbase; SAP Business Objects; Microstrategy)
  • AdvancedExcel experience required (pivot tables, lookups, sum-ifs, macros)

Our Hiring Manager says: This is a critical position that will beresponsible for keeping on top of an ever-changing forecast in a project-basedenvironment.  A successful candidate willbe able to partner with associates within the business practice, our researchteam, and the rest of the Finance and Accounting group to provide accurate andtimely information regarding the financial health of the projects theysupport.  Additionally, they should be anactive participant in diagnosing problems and suggesting corrective actionswhen the financial outlook turns negative on a given project or industry.  I’m looking for someone who can hit theground running, work independently and be able to anticipate the needs of keystakeholders/senior management.  You haveto be able to partner with the key stakeholders to drive results, and have theability to summarize complex situations in an easily understood manner.  Finally, I’m looking for someone who workscollaboratively with finance and business associates to maintain and enhance ourforecast & budget data as well as refine and continuously improve ourprocesses.
